The CORE microsystem is designed to be a highly versatile system to cover multiple small bone cutting specialties in a hospital.  The system can be used for many indications including Orthopaedics, Spine, Neuro, ENT, Sports medicine, Oral max, and plastics.  It is a versatile system, yet does not lose the specialisation needed for each of these specialities. The CORE system is an electric system that offers torque feedback--a unique design that sends more power to the handpiece as it encounters resistance.  CORE has full variable speed with either handswitch or footswitch options, allowing the surgeon tactile control to operate at the speed they are comfortable with.  The CORE system is the latest offering from the Instruments division of Stryker--The worldwide leader in surgical power tool business.
